To get there cars tuned by a reputable company that has a Dyno that give tyre readings I would recommend people to keep the Dpf on there BMW cars I have proved that it is possible to get loads of power from a car fitted with a DPF and for it not to block up We have a load of customers that have done more that 300,000miles with the original Dpf still fitted all these cars came up with the Dpf needed changing around 130,000-160,000 miles BMW X5 E70, xDrive35d SUV, Years (2010 to 2013) with M57 Engine.ĭDE / ECU Supported DDE73 (ECU's) with M57 Engines.It's always a component on the engine,the way the car is driven around town or a bad remap where the tuner has just added loads and loads of fuel so it smokes before the Dpf (this is why a load of so called tuning companies started to recommend removing the Dpf with a remap and said you will get more power) or lengthened the time between Regens in there tuned file they make.Fault 4D4A appears if no measures are taken despite the request for filter replacement being issued and the total running distance of the particulate filter has been exceeded.ĮGR (Exhaust gas recirculation): Disconnection of the EGR Valve from its connector.Fault 452A appears when the particulate filter has exceeded most of the maximum running distance and serves as information / request for competent filter replacement in the BMW workshop.
